Come together, come within.
Hi, I'm Gaby
Pull up a chair.

Fitting in takes more than it shows.
Adapting, working hard, integrating, doing things right: it's how most of us move forward, in automatic pilot. Somewhere along the way, it is easy to stop showing who you are, and disconnect from yourself.

Maybe you moved to a new country for a job or to study. Maybe you're starting over at home, after a career change or a plan that didn't go the way you expected. Either way, a part of you wants to be listened to.
Noticing that takes courage. It's where it all starts.

How it works
Invitations, not instructions.
I bring research-based tools for self-knowledge, emotion regulation, stress management and resilience: mindfulness, self-reflection, and working with the beliefs you carry. You choose what fits, try it in your daily life with curiosity instead of judgement, and see what happens. Your own experience becomes the evidence.

Look. Notice. Understand what's going on.
Explore. Try different approaches, with curiosity.
Apply. Practice, run the small experiment.
Reflect. Evaluate what happened.
Next. Adjust. Choose your next step.
Little by little, you get to know yourself better, meet stress and strong emotions with more calm, and bounce back more easily when life gets hard. You feel more like yourself.

Ways to start

What to expect
No experience needed, just curiosity.
1
Arrive
We start with time for yourself, a short practice to land.
2
Meet the guest
We explore one guest together: stress, strong emotions, self-doubt, your inner critic.
3
Choose the experiment
You leave with one thing small enough to try this week, in your own life.
You share only what you want, and listening counts too. If you come alone, that's fine. Most of us arrive a little unsure.

Hi, I am Gaby.
I moved to the Netherlands with excitement, and built a life that looked good on paper: the PhD, the career, the right steps in order.
For a while, it worked. Then I noticed I'd built it for what would be recognized, more than for what actually made me happy. I know what it's like to lose track of yourself while trying to fit into a new country. Mindfulness and mind-body practices helped me find my way back. I created The Inner Experiment so people going through their own version of it don't have to find their way back to themselves alone.
